Random Acts Of Kindness week was launched in 1995 as an opportunity to unite people around the world through kindness. This year, it is observed the week of February 17th. During this week long celebration people around the world get to demonstrates that kindness is contagious. It all starts with one act!

To celebrate this week, we are sharing some of our favorite ways to bring kindness into your space in a simple, project-based approach. How are you going to spread kindness throughout your school and community this week and all year?'

No-Sew Blanket by Kid + Kin

This easy no-sew blanket is the perfect way to encourage students to practice kindness. Make this made-with-love craft that even beginners can make for projects such as Project Linus. Project Linus provides children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.” Give students the chance to be creative while doing good with this no-sew blanket.
