Who Can Build The Tallest Cup Tower?

May 10, 2018

Teamwork is a great way to have students bond with their classmates. This STEM Challenge welcomes friendly competition as students work together in different teams to try and build the tallest cup tower in a time period of 30 minutes. This may seem super easy, but you will be amazed by the different ideas your students come up with.

What you need...

  • Cups (24-48 Per Team)

What you need to do...

  • Put students into teams of 2 - 4

  • Have students work together to create the tallest stack of cups in 30 minutes

  • During this time allow students to explore possibilities and become problem solvers

  • When time is up give students time to present their finds and how they worked together to solve the problem.

We would love to see you try this STEM Challenge. Share your results with us through social media!
